Vintage lines meet a modern look with this projector.
Connect was an effort to merge the Streamline Modern design movement of the 1930s and drive-in movie theaters of the 1950s. The idea was to design something that would not look old-fashioned but exciting, bursting with vintage designs' color, lines, and materials. I wanted to create an imaginative reconstruction of what a projector designed in the early 1930s might have looked like. Absorbing all the vintage designs, harmonizing them, and including them in my design was fascinating. Connect emotionally communicates with the user. Unlike most of today's video players, Connect offers a different user experience, adding a refreshing breeze of nostalgia to outdoor or indoor movie viewing.
